Pre-Reservations Requested - Unfortunately,
or should I say fortunately, BRM is getting too popular and with just
Dick and I left to run things, we decided to make some "major
corporate" decisions. Starting in 2008, we will be catering
mainly to pre-reserved clientele, unreserved persons please note, that
you take your chances as to availability of services. This
includes service in the restaurant, as over the last two years we have
found that we have been catering to more and more large groups which
often necessitated the closing of the restaurant to the general
public. So, if possible, please contact us to make your
reservations for any and all required services, no matter how trivial.
Due to the high cost of doing business with plastic, Bear
River Mercantile is slowly changing over to good old fashioned paper. Payments
for bookings and services will mainly be accepted as cash, cheques,
travelers cheques and money orders. For 2008, VISA and MasterCard will still be
excepted as a last resort. More details for payment is listed in each service
category.

- Accommodations

Our two cozy campers cabins sit overlooking the lake. The
campground is situated on a nice grassy field beside the Bowron River.
- Canoe & Equipment Rentals

Our small fleet provides good basic canoes for both novice and
experienced paddlers. We also rent an assortment of camping equipment.
- Paddler, Front Country, Vacation and
Group Packages

Paddlers Packages include canoe, accommodation and restaurant meals
all conveniently packaged for your circuit or west side trip.

Front Country Packages (3 day / 2 night) include cabin, canoe
and select restaurant meals for your mini-holiday at Bowron Lake.

Youth Groups should check out our discount rates for canoes and
cabins.

We offer Family Vacation Packages for stays of one week or longer
in both the cabins and campground.
- Store & Restaurant

Our store can supply last minute or forgotten items needed to paddle the Bowron Lake
Chain. If you don't want to buy everything, check out our
rentals.

Our Restaurant features good home cooking with hearty soups and
home baking. Our burgers and meals are becoming world re-known. This year we will be
operating the restaurant 'Road House Style'!
- Camp Food Outfitting

Don't want to be bothered with making up a menu and buying your
